I am trying to publish a Mosaic Dataset as an image service but every time I am trying to create a cache out of it, results in error. I have created a sde database in SQL server and put all the rasters in a folder which I have already registered with the server. Also, every time it publishing got succeed but cache got failed. Its cache results into this error:

Error - Drawing failure, error string = Failed to create an image cache tile for Raster_1 at R35470C6B268. [Missing raster: [Y:\Shared\Mu\Ras\08.jp2]]
Error - Failed to cache extent: 8498331.452073 3355892.787845 8502242.028576 3363825.648821 at scale 1128.49717600000008133065 ERROR 001456: Failed to update tiles.

There's one more thing that I want to know whether is it necessary to build overview before publishing ? And, if so where will be overview get stored in case of sde database ?

You might need to turn "DRA" (Dynamic Range Adjustment) on. I can't remember where exactly the setting is on Arcmap, I think it's on the imagery pane/toolbar https://routerlogin.uno/  .
