I'm trying to import a spreadsheet (3 columns, 883,311 rows; one of the columns is full addresses) in order to geocode it -- have now tried two different ways.

1) Using the Geocode Addresses tool, with the spreadsheet on my computer as the Input Table. But after 20min of trying to import it just gave up and closed (I missed the error message).

2) I tried to plainly import the .csv into the program and got this error:

@JennaPollack What were your steps to add the sheet from your Excel file? How did you try to add the csv?

Also remove the space from the name of the excel file and replace it with an underscore before trying to geocode it.

It might help to use the Export Table geoprocessing tool to export your table to a file geodatabase table.
