Time slider does not show correctly

I have a layer which is defined temporally by start and end date fields.

When moving forward in time with the slider, features start to appear in correct manner based on the start date field.  

However, when reaching dates where features should disappear from view, based on the end date, this does not happen.

what were your settings? field type all the same? interval?

there may be bugs or things to recommend, but there are too many variables to sift through first

Both start and end are Date types

time interval not pre-determined. also other options for time interval don't help

Ok, I got it

In the time tab I made start and end of the current time equal to each other
