@NateWeaver, Esri certifications require both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience on the product.

You can first download the syllabus from EAPF 2025 EIG and set a target to finish ech topic one by one.

If you have access to Esri Academy, you can start learning from: Esri ArcGIS Pro Foundation Certification 2025 | Learning Plan.

If you don't, then, Esri documentations are best resources. (Begin from: Introduction to ArcGIS Pro—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation) You can approach it like this:

  1. Pick a topic from syllabus, like: "Organize workspace and interact with panes, ribbons and Quick Access Toolbar".
  2. Google: Organize workspace and interact with panes, ribbons and Quick Access Toolbar + ArcGIS Pro
  3. It will provide you the documentation: ArcGIS Pro user interface—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation
  4. Open the document, read it thoroughly. (Make sure you are reading correct doc and don't miss anything from the syllabus)
  5. Open ArcGIS Pro, explore each tool/command, one by one...use it & practice it.
  6. At the bottom of the document, you'll find related documents. If you feel it is necessary, go through them as well.

If you still feel unprepared and need more practice, you can search for a topic in Esri Tutorial series and practice it: Tutorial Gallery | Documentation. Also, when you open ArcGIS Pro, there are Learning resources tab. You can refer that as well.

Note: Don't miss anything from the syllabus. Even if it is a small topic and you already know about it. I would suggest, you should still go through it.

Set small targets like a target for a day/week and achieve it. This will keep you motivated.

Wishing you the best 🙂 Feel free to connect if you need any help.
