Hello,

I am hoping to utilize table frames to show specific attributes of features that are only visible within a map frame. However, the table frame is listing features that I have removed their symbology - so those features are not visible on the map (which I dont want them visible on the map) yet they show up in the table frame:

In the screen shot you will see that 707 and 526 are visible and those are the only two I want displayed in my table frame - yet 43 and 477 show up. And i realize that feature 43 and 477 are within my map from but they are not visible as I removed their symbology.  Am i going about this wrong?

Also, is there a way to simply summarize a particular field for the features listed in the Table frame?  For example just add another line below that sum a field:

Many thanks in advance!

I am not sure what you mean by removing their symbology but a possible solution assuming that you have 3.4 and not too many features for Unique Values symbology, is to turn off the visibility of specific features such as 401001 below. The Table Frame honors this although it might need to be refreshed.

Make sure that the Query is set to Visible rows.

New at 3.4:  Unique values symbology draws nominal data in feature layers with a different symbol for each class. You can now control the visibility of each symbol class independently using either the Symbology pane for a single layer or the Contents pane of the map for multiple map layers.
