Using the contour function in ArcGIS Pro I created contour polygons using 'contour shell up' and 'contour polygon' as contour type with very similar outcomes.

As you can see in the image below (contour shell up output), each resulting polygon is the expression of a contour level, and thus combines several subpolygons which would otherwise be created as individual polylines using the 'contour' as contour type option. In the below example, there would be at least 12 individual polylines created, one around each tree.

How can I separate these 'subpolygons' in each polygon class so they all become individual polygons?

PS: I tried to achieve this by creating polylines with contours and then convert them to polygons after with the 'feature to polygon' tool, but the result is not giving me the right outcome.

have you tried Multipart to Singlepart on the Contour output?
