Snapping to point when Rematching

Using ArcGIS Pro 2.6 (on a remote computer) to rematch addresses after geocoding.

I'd like the "Pick From Map" tool to snap to an existing point. Snapping to points is on, snapping to the point layer is turned on.

Am I missing something to get this to work?

Thanks for thoughts.

Chip:

It's possible you may get better results for that situation if  you rebuild the locator with the Create Locator tool without having to create an alternate name table to account for different variations of the street name which would allow you to make use of the following property. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/geocoding/additional-tuning-options.htm#ESRI_SECT...

If you need to create the locator in ArcMap you will need to create an alternate name table to account for the difference in street name. https://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/latest/manage-data/geocoding/the-alternate-name-table.htm

Thanks, again, Shana.  I appreciate the extra/detailed information regarding the changes for creating locators going as we implement ArcGIS Pro 3.

I still think it would be useful to be able to snap to a point when trying to rematch points.  I can think of an instance when it would be faster to use the "Pick from map" option to snap to a known address point (knowing that you will get only a Lat/Lon and not any other information from the point that is snapped to) than to update the geocoded table or the locator.
