I have generated a route then converted it to a feature class so my lines will have m-values. I am using a shape marker layer to display perpendicular ticks every 100 feet. The shape marker placement is set to "At Measured Units," with an interval of 100. The map units/display units are set to feet. It worked and was displaying, then I changed the dash effect on the line. Now it doesn't display and doesn't print when the layout is exported. I can see the ticks when I select the feature but they disappear when I unselect the feature. No outstanding edits on the feature class, nothing else I can find in the way. Another feature class IS working and has all the same settings (respect frame, scale proportionally, place per part, angle to line, place at extremities). Why can't things just work?
