Hello,

My boss has asked me to change the yellow line (City Interceptor) to black line (Sanitary Interceptor). I am not sure how to change it instead of having to create one. I tried modifying and it didn't look like there was any change. Thanks in advance!

I am guessing the symbology (the color of the line) is set based on the type of line? Can you check to see if the symbology looks something like this:

Click on the layer in the table of contents and then the symbology button:

If that's the case, you'll need to edit the attributes of the feature instead of drawing a new one.

If you have 'yellow' symbology applied to a 'City Interceptor' feature class and 'black' symbology applied to a 'Sanitary Interceptor' feature class; then you you have to do is select the yellow line, open the attribute table, and change it from 'City Interceptor' to 'Sanitary Interceptor' and it should reflect the color change as intended. Hope this helps!
