I have an ArcGIS Pro project where I'm connected to ArcGIS Server services in my map.  If I save my project and open it at a later date I get the dialog box below asking me for user name and password.  This dialog comes up every time I open the project:

@

Yes, I have checked 'Save Username / Password'.  I have set up a connection to the server in Catalog.  Is this a bug, or am I missing something?  Thanks in advance for any insight into this issue.

Yes.  It looks like that is(soon to be was) a bug:

ArcGIS Pro 2.4 should be available either late June/early July.

We have the same Problem in in Pro 2.4.2. There ist also BUG-000126431. Maybe there is a Connection between this two Bugs.

It's not solved yet.

This problem is not solved in Pro 2.5.0 either.

In researching the bug reports:

BUG-000121467 - "when saving and reopening a project, ArcGIS Pro prompts for a login with an empty username and password although the "Save Username/Password" option is checked from the last instance of running the app" was only reproducible in ArcGIS Pro 2.3.0, 2.3.1, and 2.3.2 but not in ArcGIS Pro 2.4.

BUG-000126431 - "the option to save username and password in the connection file is ignored for the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) services in ArcGIS Pro."  According to this GeoNet thread, it seems to be fixed at 2.5.0 and tested at 2.5.1.

I am using Pro 2.5.2 and having the same issue - is there any update on this?

Not to my knowledge.  ArcGIS Pro 2.6 should drop in the next month or so - so would be good to test at the new release.

I'm using 2.5.1 and my connection is saved as expected.

Hi,

We are still experiencing this issue in Pro 2.8.3.

Thanks,
