New to this so I struggle at times.
I need to separate parallel lines by a specified distance. Whenever I search this up the answers always seem to center around splitting lines, or creating lines parallel to another, or copying lines.
I have road networks. Dual highways are represented by parallel lines, which are too close together, so I need to spread them apart.
The lines are used to create visual roads for visual simulation. When the lines are too close, the polygons for the parallel roads overlap, which looks bad.
Arcgis Pro obviously has tremendous capabilities and it seems like there should be something in the toolbox that does what I want, but I can't find it. I've tried a bunch of things and nothing does what I want. Could be I'm not using the tool right.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
