Hi

I'm trying to use 'Select layer by attribute' in the model builder but with no luck (or result/selection). I build the query using the drop-down interface, which then gets translated into this:

Family LIKE '%Building%'

'Family' being the attribute where I'm trying to select the features that contain the string 'Building'.

The exact same query works fine when I run the tool from the Geoprocessing window (outside Model Builder).

What am I doing wrong?

Hi Bruno, are you using a layer as input? If your input is a feature class, first make it into a layer with Make Feature Layer. Not sure that's your problem, but it's a possibility.

There is an ArcGIS Pro BUG-000129049 - In ArcGIS Pro, the selection does not show in the layer added to the display using the Select by Attribute tool from ModelBuilder.  It was first in ArcGIS Pro 2.5 but fixed in ArcGIS Pro 2.6. What release of ArcGIS Pro are you using?

Hi @BrunoMoser ,

you can add the Geoprocessing tool in the Model Builder

In ArcGIS Pro, open a new model builder> at the to of the page, you can see the model builder is there,

Click on the toolbox when
