Hi all,

In ArcMap, you can select by location using selected features in the source layer. Is there a way to do this in ArcGIS Pro?

I am trying to select features in a layer than are within 5km of one particular town in another layer. When I run the query is does not give me the options to use the selected town in the source layer for my query. ArcMap had a box you could check for this type of query. Is there any way to run a similar query on Pro?

Thanks!

You can still do the same thing.

So essentially you would want to utilize the select by attributes and then re-select from a subset of the current selection.

Keeping the concerned feature (Town) selected in your "Selecting Features" layer, if you run the tool, it would select the features from "Input Features" layer that honors the relationship corresponding to the selected feature (selected Town).
