I am wondering if it is possible to search for a range of colors within a satellite image. For example, I want to create a buffer around the rivers in Idaho, and then search within that buffered area for a strip of white/off-white (white water) so I can identify potential low-head dam locations quickly, rather than searching along each river by myself. I have done NDVI analysis before so I know something like this is possible. Any help or better ideas would be greatly appreciated.
