Hi everyone. My company has gone all remote, probably forever. I currently have mostly reliable cable internet at home, but am looking to possibly have a mobile data plan for the sake of redundancy in case of outages. Also, it would be a dream to make my work setup mobile and travel a bit in the future. I work in map publications as a cartographer using ArcGIS Pro. I move around 1 GB of data a day, and currently have speeds of about 50 down and 5 up, with WIFI, which works pretty well for me now.
Does anyone who works remotely have any input on mobile providers? I am based out of the Cincinnati area, but am looking to travel all over the US and Canada (so bonus points if the data can be used internationally). I found a company called www.infiniteltedata.com but there are only 30 reviews, which makes me a little suspicious of their claims. Any ideas?
