Records not showing in layer's table

I have a point layer with roughly 2M records. When I open the layer's table, there's no data, but when I select by attribute, the selected records display all the data.

Here's what the table looks when I open it up (kindly forgive me for having to redact it):

And here's what I see when I make a selection:

Why am I not seeing all the records at once? Here's a bit more info:

  • I'm using 3.2
  • I'm appending data to a "master" layer
    • I used to be able to see data for the first 400k records
    • now I don't see any data unless I make a selection
  • when I summarize within, no data is carried over into the polygon layer

Any help is appreciated!

Just as a test, what would happen if you exported the 2 million records to a new feature class in a new file gdb?

How long has this layer been in use with this append process?

It worked! I created the layer last week and will be adding to it this week and next, bringing the total to around 3M.

Thanks!

In your graphic of the records selected in the attribute table, lower left, you have the Show Selected Records button selected.  Click the button to the left of that for Show All Records.  Then you'll see all records selected or not.

Thanks for this suggestion! It worked and now all records are showing.
