I have a raster dataset that cannot be deleted.

Things I have tried:

A. R-Click the raster dataset --> Select Delete --> Are you sure --> Yes  --> ArcGIs says, "Deleting..." --> I hit Refresh and the raster reappears

B. Run the Delete geoprocessing tool - give error WARNING 000110: \\gisshare\GISRaster_Services\GISRasterServices.gdb\RasterComposite does not exist.

C. Rebooted server then tried A again then rebooted a second time before checking for its existence

And after some drive mapping wizardry I was able to delete it from a different computer using ArcCatalog (Arc Desktop was not installed on the server which houses the file geodatabase that held the offending Raster Dataset.)

At this point I guess I'm posting this in case someone else comes across this problem.

Thanks for the tip @Markbe_utco, This happened to me too.

My raster dataset was saved in a file geodatabase located in a shared One Drive folder.

I was able to delete it by using ArcCatalog on the same computer.
