I am trying to use a feature class (agency data) from AGOL that has fields that contain only a code. Descriptions are available in a PDF. I cannot edit the data from AGOL because it's not mine and I want it always to be current. I can build lookup tables, store them in my AGOL account, join those tables to the source data, and THEN publish a web layer.
Will that web layer automatically update when the agency changes their data? Thus giving me a "live" view of the data with the code descriptions always intact.
The join works in Pro but not in AGOL. That is why I asked the question above.
