I am trying to add to Pro and open a standalone table from Oracle.

The table is not registered with the geodatabase and does not have spatial column.

It belong to a different schema but I have full access.

I can add it to the TOC and see the fields - nothing unusual.

When I try to open it I get the error you see in the attachment.

ArcMap on the same machine can see the table!!

Any idea?

There's a related post here but from what I've read you need to add an ObjectID field to the stand alone table. Then ArcGIS Pro should be able to open the table.  You're correct that ArcMap did not have this issue.

First check looks like the ODBC works but suddenly the original connection works too.

Still looking into this.

When you do an ODBC connection to Oracle table and open table propertis the source is Sql Server table 😀
