Hello, I have the following problem: In the pie chart I created from a layer, the labels are being cut off, even though the maximum character count is set high enough. Is there a way to enlarge the chart area without enlarging the pie itself, so that the labels are displayed in full?

ArcGIS Pro doesn’t currently provide a control to “increase the chart canvas/margins” for a pie chart without effectively changing the pie/label layout. If labels are getting cut off, the supported approaches are to adjust the label settings instead.

Try these options:

• In the chart’s Chart Properties pane → Slices tab → Labels, increase the Character limit (slice labels truncate by default). The full label is also available on hover. 
• Reduce what’s displayed in the slice labels (for example, show percentage only instead of category + value + percent).
• Use Grouping threshold to combine small categories into Other, which reduces label crowding.

Hi @SeraphinaOettli , in addition to Robert's great suggestions, you can also try playing with the size/formatting of the data label text in the Format tab of the Chart Properties pane:

But in general we hope to improve the placement of data labels in an upcoming release, which you can track with ENH-000151672.
