I’m deploying the Cemetery Management Solution and using existing shapefiles for the gravesites. While trying to copy features from the old gravesite shapefile and use Paste Special to transfer them into the new gravesite layer, the target gravesite layer does not appear in the Paste Special dialog. I also tried using the Copy Features tool in Data Management, but encountered the same issue. Even attempting to transfer a single attribute didn’t work. How can I properly copy the existing gravesite data into the new gravesite layer?

The coordinate system is same and the target layer is editable.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for pointing this out. As I am using Cemetery Management Solution. The Gravesite layer was turned on but I forgot to turn on the Cemetery group layer. It was a silly mistake.

Thank for your help.
