I am trying to run ArcPro's optimized Hot Spot Analysis tool and wondering how bin sizes are considered within the statistics of the tool. It has an option to enter your own polygon bins as a template on which to run the tool. The layer that I want to use as a template has bins of varying sizes. How will this affect the outcome of the tool, or does the tool normalize for different bin sizes by itself? The neighborhood distance used would be consistent and larger than the bin sizes.
