Hi, In need to find GIS Data for Substation . I do have the Electric transmissions in line , but need the points for the substation. I am in Colorado and where do I find it ?
Need it to include it in my current project .

Contact the organization that manages electric transmission for your area.
You could also try the CO Energy Transmission Authority.
Just FYI, this type of data is usually very secure. SOURCE: My partner oversees this data for two major electric transmission companies.
search AGO for "substation colorado" gave some pretty interesting results....
Thank you. I work for the Forest Service here in Pueblo and on my Forest Visitor map I could see substation and my friend from San Juan NF had his substation on his. So I am working on similar to his for my forest on Pike and San Isabel National Forest
Is it why is it not out there because of the security it pose our society ?
