I am trying to set up Map Notes in ArcGIS for some basic sketches of concept plans (parcel splits, building permits, etc.) for one of our administrative assistants, and none of the geometry fields are accurate. The "Shape_Length" field is off by a factor of 1.53, as in it's supposed to be 4.572m (15 ft), but the attributes state that it is 7m.
Is this a known issue? Should I not be using the Map Notes for something like this?
We are using ArcGIS Pro 1.2

Does the coordinate system of the map notes agree with your other data?

That was it. I don't know why I completely overlooked it.
I guess I assumed that the map notes would be created in the same coordinate system as the map.
Thanks!
What is the source of the attribute data? i.e. from what system is it derived. No doubt different capture methods and different benchmarks.
