One of my coworkers and I have been working on a series of maps. I'm unsure what happened, but now a few of our projects have layers that are semi-transparent despite attempts to change the symbology. When selecting a color in the symbology tab they're all set to 0% transparency but once applied to the map it's still transparent.
Increasing the transparency in symbology just serves to make the layers even paler. Copying the layer didn't solve the problem , but new layers added don't have the transparency problem.
Is there some other feature in GIS Pro we may have activated that would affect these layers?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Have you checked the Effects section on the Feature Layer tab to see if the Transparency was changed or any Layer/Feature Blending was applied?

That was it! Thank you so much!
If color and layer both have no transparency, check 'vary symbology by attribute' - eg below. Also check transparency set against any containing groups in the TOC, or a transparent layer sitting on top?
