From my understanding, unless you specify different slope cutoffs for the high and low angles, there should not be directional dependence in least cost paths, correct? Except I end up getting two different paths depending on which end is the start or finish. While this makes sense from an iterative least cost per cell path (choosing the lowest accumulative distance cell toward the destination point), it would mean that it is not creating the best single least total cost path, just the least accumulative cost path.
Tried to read some into this, but still wasn't sure if I was somehow missing something or if that is in fact how the tool works. Paths are displayed overtop the corridor surface.
