Hi folks,

I am working with ArcGIS Pro 2.7.0 and having an issue with overlapping labels. I am using a polyline layer and have quite simple labelling approahc using the standard label engine:

Unfortunately the labels do overlap a lot which is troubling! Any suggestions?

Seems like a "nice" feature aka BUG in ArcGIS Pro. I imported the project as a map package which was created using ArcMAP. clearing and resetting the reference scale was the solution:

Just switched to maplex, but no luck at all:

Do I miss a basic setting somehow?

Labeling line features using Maplex is much more robust than the Standard Labeling engine in ArcGIS Pro.  Agree with Dan!
