Keeps crashing while attempting to geocode

ArcGIS Pro keeps crashing when attempting to geocode. It will be stuck on 0% loading locators and then completely fail. I've tried smaller file sizes, ran the repair wizard, and done a full uninstalled and reinstall of the most current version. Anyone else run into this issue and/or know a solution?

Hey @JessicaHandy

When you say that it fails, I was curious if an error was given when this happens? If so, could you send a screenshot of that error, I've heard of similar issues before and am just curious!

Hi @CodyPatterson ,

Nope - no error code, the application just completely closes out without warning. That's why I was hoping a full reinstall would fix it, but alas, here we are.

Hey @JessicaHandy

I see, that is very strange, I just went and gave the tutorial a shot with ArcGIS Pro 3.2 and it went through without issue. I was curious what version of Pro you're using? Along with that, are you using the ArcGIS World Geocoding, or your own?

I'm using OSM. Some combination of rebooting my system and the uninstall/reinstall of both Pro and the Locators to the newest versions resolved the issue! I'm guessing it must have been some sort of mismatch between the files, or one/both of them got corrupted somehow.

Hey @JessicaHandy

Great to hear! That definitely could have been one of the issues, hopefully it sticks after that, I'll have to throw that idea into my knowledge bank!
