Hi Ersi Community,
I'm trying to assist some end users.
We're installing Arc GIS Pro and when users try to Add Data to a project the databases are pointing back to the local C drive of the group admin and we're trying to figure out why that is and how we can fix it. Has anyone else encountered this issue?
Where is the data from the project you are trying to share residing. Is it on the administrators C: drive?
I would suggest using network drives with UNC pathnames for shared projects.
So were are the databases located?
Generally, you add database/folder connections to the project. Then, when you choose the add data button, it lets you select from the database/folder connections you have set up, or, you need to navigate to the data or connection file as you are seeing.

Are you trying to install by copying the entire installed program from one to the other or doing a fresh install.
Hi everyone,
Thank you for this suggestions and tips. I'm going to sit with the user soon and install a brand new Arc GIS pro install on a new machine to test all of this out, and will then report back. Thank you again!
