Is there a way to copy/paste a Map Frame item into existing ArcGIS Pro Legend.  The software is at the 2.2 level and this is an import from 10.5 ArcGIS document.  I am attempting to correct/convert an existing map document.  I am not finding any existing posts on Geo-net or Google searching for doing this. Also I am not seeing any options in the Format Legend dialog box. Do I have to recreate the legend fully in Pro?  Thanks, most appreciated.

This looks to have grabbing the incorrect level in the hierachy.  It's possible to grab an item unless it was a momemntary bug as near as I can tell. It works.

Hi Robert,

To add layers to an existing legend (that do not already exist in the legend) you can select the layers you want to add in the Contents Pane (TOC) and either drag them into the Legend item in the Contents Pane, or drag them item directly onto the legend displayed on the page. If you are unable to do this it could mean that the layer already exists in the legend.

Hope this helps,

Tom
