Imported .csv table columns names mixed

Hi,

I need to import a .csv table into ArcGIS pro. I had to mess around a bit with the way the columns are sorted.

After switching the columns around, I save the file and import it into ArcGIS pro (by dragging it with my mouse from the File manager). It imports just fine. However, after opening the table in ArcGIS pro, the column names are mixed randomly. As in the longitude has "Start_date" name, start date column is named "Longitude", "Latitude" column name is just gone and so on.

Has anybody ever encountered this? Or do you know how to solve this? Thank you very much!

It's not clear what you mean by mess around a bit and switching the columns around so I am guessing here. Changing the column names in the top row of the csv file doesn't change the alignment of the rows below.

You could feasibly open the csv file in Excel --> reorder the columns --> save the csv --> try again.

You can use the Export Table GP tool to create a new output table from the csv and reorder the columns (fields) and so on.
