Import Feature Class(es) to geodatabase

I am using ArcGIS Pro 3.5.

I have created an empty file geodatabase and I'm trying to import a shapefile into it. In Catalog I'm using the Import Feature Class(es) option. The command runs and appears to be successful. There are no error messages and my elapsed time shows 1 second.  However, nothing seems to be importing. When I go to the geodatabase the shapefile hasn't been imported. I tried refreshing the catalog view for the geodatabase. Still nothing shows as having been imported. Any ideas as to why the import function isn't working for me?

Hey @TulsaCommunity_College

I don't believe that tool works 100% of the time for shapefiles, what you may try doing is dragging and dropping the shapefile into ArcGIS Pro, and then right-click -> export it into a file geodatabase by redirecting the output from its default location, and set it to the file geodatabase. That's what I've done with all of my imports so far as sometimes tools may take too long!
