Hi there,
I am working through a spatial interpolation lab, from the "Discovering ArcGIS and ArcGIS Pro" text book by Shellito, which uses precipitation data from Ohio.
I have run into an issue with running the IDW and the error messages are:
-"Insufficient number of grid points"
-"Error in executing grid expression"
-"Failed to execute (IDW)"
I'm attaching a screenshot of the errors and info entered.
I'm unsure why it's saying insufficient number of grid points, as there are over 1,000 points in the set.
Any help on this would be very much appreciated!
Thanks!
You may have one or two points selected in the featureclass or its table. Clear the selection since most tools operate on selections if there are any, hence, the too few points

I am not coding only using the GUI.
file paths? that error suggests that your paths to the input data or the output contain issues, like spaces, folders beginning with numbers and myriad of other things
