I can't link folder, save layers nor run tools. My software is completely useless

I lost the capability of linking new folders via pop up menu. The dropdown menu that usually says "folders" in the "Add folder connections" in now blank. when I click a folder the "name" bar doesn't update, and the only option is open (not ok) , so i keep navigating in subfolders.

Also when saving a layer whatever path and name I select (even local folders as documents) i get network error.

Also now when i run a tool it shows and error immediately saying  ERROR 000730: "layer path" does not exist within table.

I'm happy to provide screenshots but the blog says i don't have permission to upload images right now.

I tried uninstalling, switching user and nothing. The entire software is basically useless

If it worked until recently, then the general course of action is to try the following in order

Perform an ArcGIS pro Soft Reset

Perform a Clean Uninstall and Reinstall of ArcGIS Pro

contact Tech Support, who may have addition tools to examine your situation

Not sure what exactly you mean by the 'pop up menu', but do you get the same behavior if you try to add a folder from the Favorites panel in Catalog instead of the Project panel?

That really is like something deeper than just a UI glitch especially with the path errors and network issues happening together. Could be permissions or a broken config/cache messing with how the app reads directories. I’ve seen similar cases discussed in a few communities (even stumbled on some fixes while browsing Rejekibet, so checking folder permissions and resetting user configs might be worth a shot.

Hi Leonardo,
I am having the same issue--have you found a solution?
I have uninstalled and re-installed with no luck.
