Hi all, I'm hoping I can get some guidance here on how best to represent service footprints in a webmap in Experience Builder (or similar).
I am mapping service provider footprints, to view individual provider footprints and identify service overlaps (ie where provider footprints overlap).
I have an .xlsx with ~100 rows, each row represents a unique service provider. Each service provider lists the ABS SA3s covered by their service - some only list 1 SA3, others list 'Australia' (ie all geographic SA3s).
There's also SA3 Census data to provide information about target populations etc.
Whatever I end up with will then be uploaded to Enterprise Portal and an EB App (or similar) created. This will have a map and widgets (including a list that shows the Census data for an SA3 when it is selected on the map, and information about if there are other service providers in that SA3).
I'm unsure how to proceed with this:
Option 1 - A single SA3 feature class to represent all service footprints? How do I attribute this?
Option 2 - SA3 feature class with duplicate SA3s where there is >1 service provider?
Option 3 - Create a feature class per service provider, ending up with 100 feature classes?
Option 4 - Join/Relate tables - I've not much experience in this, but open to trying it out if the best option.
Any thoughts, previous experience would be greatly appreciated. Happy to do the work, just need to ideas on how to get started!
