Hey Esri Community, was curious if anyone knew a workaround for creating a slope class from contour lines. I have used DEMs before to create them, but for my current project I have a much more accurate contour class and don't have access to a decent DEM. Just curious if there's any tools that can perform similarly or if I'm missing something.  I have access to all license extensions for Pro so anything works for me.

Hi Tristen,

There is a tool called Topo to Raster that can convert your contour lines to a DEM for use in creating a slope class. Please see the article below for more information. Note* the Topo to Raster and Slope tools do require a Spatial Analyst or 3D Analyst License.

I hope this helps!
