Grouping Layers is causing Feature Templates to be removed

I have a map that was pulled from AGOL into Pro. It is downloaded into ArcPro. All layers are hosted features.
When I try to group the layers outlined by the black box in the attached photo and then rename that group, the feature templates are disappearing.
