Grouping Error: Crashing ARCGIS PRO, and ghosting my project

After couple hours I can't find a way to recover my (2 week long ) project. ESRI support staff, I am just trying to group my bottom labels together and my side labels together as you can see on this picture.  They are "ghosting" my project after I group the labels and removes the objects COMPLETELY from my contents. I cannot select them, move them , delete them , etc.

This is not acceptable.

Can you tell me how to fix this? I'm very disappointed if my 2-week long project is tanked from a grouping issue.

Im very frustrated please help!
