Grid and graticule disappear from layout when I clip layers in my map

Hello,

I have a layout set up with a grid and graticule.  When I go to the maps properties>Clip Layers and select "Clip to an outline" and then set it to clip any or all layers, my grid and graticule disappear from my layout.  They turn back on as soon as I turn of clipping.  Any additional grids or graticules I add also don't show up. How can I clip layers and still show grids in my layout?

Can you check the Grid boundary and make sure Use map clip shape is checked?

It is checked.

Interesting. That was the first thing I thought of. This could be a data problem, a crazy border thing, or just a straight up bug. I think tech support would be most helpful here because they can look at your project directly and really troubleshoot.

Another thing to try would be adding a new layout and map frame and trying again. It's possible that map frame got in a weird state somehow.
