Ghost Buffers using Modify, Buffers tool in ArcPro 3.0

Upgraded to ArcPro 3.0 and now we get Ghost Buffers after we run the buffer tool from the modify features pane. even when you turn off everything in the TOC they are still there! The only way to exorcise them is to close the map that they appear in, and then reopen it.
