I need to select a feature in an arcpy script based on mouse location. All google results point to creating python add-ins for Desktop.
What I need to accomplish (at this step in the process) is one of the following:
-prompt the user for a selection by mouse, and carry out instructions based on the selected feature.
or:
-get mouse XY coordinates on mouse click, perform select by location , and carry out instructions from there.
