Feature Vertices To Points for Dangling vertex is missing results

When I use the Feature Vertices To Points geoprocessing tool, for Point Type = Dangling vertex, it doesn't produce the expected results.

In the screenshot below, the red star is the only dangling vertex returned from the brown lines that were used as input.

Note: the brown lines were created using the XY to Line geoprocessing tool, using the yellow points' from/to x,y coordinates.

What am I missing?  The tool worked previously; the yellow points are dangling vertices found from the blue lines.

Never mind.  I figured it out.  The northern brown line is actually two lines (one from south to north, and another from north to south).
