In ArcGIS Pro 2.5.2. when doing an Extract Points to Values with various rasters and my landslide point feature class there are about 580 points that receive <null> value even though there is a raster value at these locations. There are values everywhere for my raster (no holes or missing data spatially), yet about 10% of my point data are receiving <null> values instead of the raster value. This is the second time this has happened - with two different (point and raster) datasets but the points with <null> values are always from the same general (globally speaking) geographic area from the Himalayas trending southeast to New Zealand. I can see nothing in the point data or raster data to explain. They are all in the same projection.
This is global data and the cell size is 1 Km. I didn't set any parameters in the Analysis Environment. In looking at it, everything seems desirable to me, i.e. the extent etc.
I am having the same problem with some point data for windmill locations, tool is not working correctly
