Hello,

Using ArcGIS Pro I have set only 3 of 7 possible fields as visible but when I export the layer to kml the kmz output seems to ignore my visible settings and shows all 7 fields.

Am I missing something?

Thank you,

If the tool does not honor the field visibility then you can first export the layer as a new feature class which will only have the visible fields. You can then export that new feature class as a KML.

Also, might be worth suggesting it as an ArcGIS Pro idea.

Thank you Ed, It's just that my understanding was only visible fields should show in the export, it's what the documentation suggests. Wasn't sure if I am doing something wrong.

It works for me. When I hide fields in a layer, those field are not visible in the KMZ with using Layer to KML or Map to KML export.

it seems to work for me on line features but not point features.
