I need to export a map from ArcGIS Pro to CAD and it always shows up in Lat-Long coordinates when I open the CAD drawing. I've adjusted the map coordinate system and the transformation settings for the map and it doesn't make a difference. I don't see any coordinate system options in the "Export to CAD" menu. I need to get it to state plane.

You need to re project your data from Geographic coordinates to state plane projected coordinate system first, After re projection, add it to  ArcGIS Pro Map and export as CAD drawing. I am assuming that you are just changing coordinate system in Map (data frame), however export CAD Tool reads coordinate system from its data source.

I hope it will help you.

Why do we need to re project data from geographic coordinate to state plane projected coordinate system ? is that  because the design software only receive the state plane projected coordinate system ?
