Export as a GeoReferenced PDF

Hello ArcGIS experts,

I am using ArcGIS Pro version 3.3.1 and having issues exporting a map as a GeoReferenced PDF. The export goes fine until I view the exported map. I use the default settings to export a map as a GeoReferenced PDF, as I have many times before. Artifacts that I did not use are left behind. They look like the ArcGIS 2D swamp pattern. I will attach a screenshot of the exported PDF. I have been searching forum posts and Google searches, and I have not found a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
