Hello,

I have on my machine only ArcGIS pro, is it possible to run the tool "enable enterprise geodatabase" on the connection between ArcGIS pro and PostgreSQL without having authorization file ?

Thank youuu.

A note: I am not asking about creating connection, but I want to make the connected database enabled to be geodatabase, not just a tabular one.

If it's not a method listed in the documentation I doubt you can get a connection going.

Ah, you want to convert a database to an Enterprise Geodatabase, this built-in tool should be what you need.

Just for knowledge share, this tool also has the same issue of the authorization file needed.

You will have to have a keycodes / authorization file to enable ANY enterprise geodatabase. This requires at any version of ArcGIS Server.

yes, you should be able to make a connection to a non-Enterprise Geodatabase on PostgreSQL. I have a test PostgreSQL DB (non-geodatabase) that I use on a regular basis.
