I was working in a project with single workspace editing turned on. I noticed I needed to recalculate geometry for one field so I started an edit session > ran calculate geometry > turned off edit session (it does not prompt save/discard). When the edit session was over the edits did not stick and the values reverted to what they were before I can calculate geometry. When I did the exact same thing but also changed the geometry of the feature (prompting me to save/discard) the calculate geometry edit was successful after saving my edits and stopping my edit session. Is that intended functionality? I tested this workflow in a SQL server enterprise geodatabase and a file geodatabase feature class with identical outcomes.

We are on 3.3.5, this makes sense. I will upgrade at some point and hopefully this fixes it.
