Hi all,
I'm quite new to Arcgis PRO and it's many functions. I want to create a soil map of California and the USDA provides plenty of high quality data to accomplish this task. Today I've learned about toolboxes and the USDA provides a toolbox to generate custom soil maps, based on attributes (i.e.).
The problem is the following:
I'm unable to browse trough my folders, in order to select map types. I know the toolboxes are written in Python. Is there a way to fix this problem? Or does anyone have experience with these toolboxes created by the USDA?
Many thanks!
@JanGoverde, I suppose the tools that you are using are 'script tools' created in toolbox. If it is a script tool, you can follow the process to set the data type, so the drop-down appears:
Open the Properties of script tool.
Open 'Parameters' tab, set the parameter (data type) of 'Map Unit Layer' as 'Feature Layer'. (Assuming Map unit layer is a feature layer)..
Save the changes & refresh the toolbox.
If layers are added to the map. The drop-down will be displayed.
@JanGoverde Let me know if this doesn't work & it would be great if you could share the SS of toolbox & tool properties.
