Today, I found out my employer want to setup a Geo database in oracle, where we will send results of work we have done with data using ArcGis pro.  Can ArcGIS pro create and use a geo database in Oracle?

Yes, ArcGIS Pro works with an Oracle Enterprise Geodatabase.

I know that you had other posts about connecting to an Oracle database / geodatabase earlier this week. Did you get those resolved?

Yes, we achieved our first goal connecting to Oracle from ArcGIS.  The steps we took were:

1. Add a dbConnection to a map.  The dbConnection was defined by the instance and the db account used in the connection.

2. Add data from the database to the map, using the dbConnection.  The data we needed to add to the map was a list of 246,396 addresses which had been derived from systems we use for managing customer data.
